Industrial Product Controls
A liquid leak detection system is used to detect and alert of the presence of liquid in a specific area or equipment. These systems are commonly used in industrial settings, such as chemical plants, oil refineries, and power plants, where leaks can cause serious damage or even safety hazards. They can also be used in other settings such as data centers, where leaks can damage electronic equipment. The sensors can be placed on the floor or on equipment, and they can detect the presence of liquids such as water, oil, chemicals, or other fluids. Once a leak is detected, the system will typically send an alarm or notification to alert the appropriate personnel.

PermAlert is the leading leak-detection technology provider since 1988. To develop winning products and efficiently communicate design, PermAlert called on Studio2a for product visualization of their new industrial control products. Studio2a can create industrial product renderings from engineering models or create completely custom designs from sketches, specs, or virtually any description. 3d product renderings provide brand owners a new way to shorten point-of-sale development and artwork approval cycles.
Industrial environments are often highly controlled, security-sensitive facilities where conventional on-site photography is restricted or entirely prohibited. Oil refineries, petrochemical plants, power generation facilities, manufacturing lines, and mission-critical data centers operate under strict safety, security, and compliance protocols. Gaining access for staged photography can require extensive permitting, safety training, escort coordination, and operational downtime—if access is granted at all. In many cases, photography is simply not feasible due to proprietary processes, confidential infrastructure, or national security considerations.
Enter the 3d renderings.
Working closely with the engineering design team, Studio2a produced photo-realistic 3d renderings as an alternative to conventional photography. In addition to 3d product visualizations, we can portray products in detail in a variety of real-world environments. Even ones that don’t quite exist.

OUR INDUSTRIAL RENDERING PROCESS
Working directly with the engineering and design teams, Studio2a develops photo-realistic 3D renderings that accurately replicate complex industrial environments without the logistical constraints of physical site access. Our process begins with the integration of CAD models, BIM data, P&ID diagrams, equipment specifications, and material documentation. We validate dimensional tolerances, component assemblies, finishes, and safety clearances to ensure technical fidelity. The result is a precise digital twin of both the product and its operational context.
From there, we construct fully realized industrial scenes—complete with structural steel, pipe racks, cable trays, containment systems, control panels, and environmental lighting conditions that reflect real-world operations. Photometric lighting simulations allow us to replicate high-bay fixtures, task lighting, emergency illumination, and ambient industrial atmospheres. We can also illustrate safety zones, maintenance access clearances, and equipment interfaces in a way that supports both marketing and technical communication.
Beyond standard product visualization, Studio2a can place equipment within a wide range of contextual environments—offshore platforms, processing plants, clean rooms, utility corridors, or next-generation facilities still in conceptual development. We are not limited to existing sites. If the environment does not yet exist, we build it digitally. This capability is particularly valuable for new product launches, infrastructure upgrades, investor presentations, and government procurement submissions.
The advantage is twofold: clients avoid the operational disruption, security risk, and cost of on-site photography, while gaining complete creative and technical control over perspective, lighting, cutaway views, exploded assemblies, and staged operational scenarios. The final deliverables—high-resolution stills, sectional views, animations, or technical walkthroughs—provide clarity, precision, and visual impact in environments where traditional photography cannot operate.
Studio2a’s 3d rendered product images and animations bridge the gap between the engineering department and the marketing team to quickly produce marketing collateral.
